I am a digital forensic analyst with a passion for software development. During my time at Vestige and Defiance College I have gained great experience working in teams as well as taking on large projects individually in order to efficiently deliver the best quality product to the customer. I am a self-taught developer who loves to be challenged, and being a detail-oriented/self-motivated individual I am confident I will be able to build and maintain strong, secure, and dynamic software to customers around the world.

Digital Forensic Analyst

As a digital forensic analyst I am responsible for:
  • Examining digital media for evidence of file access and movement, data destruction, USB usage, internet history, and more to determine what the activity was taking place
  • Writing reports based on my findings
  • Supervising and training data evidence specialists
  • Presenting tech meetings on new artifacts
During my time at Vestige I have taught myself how to program in order to automate many of the time-consuming tasks the analysts were forced to do on a day-to-day basis. A few scripts that I made are capable of:
  • Searching mobile device extraction data for keywords and formatting the data into spreadsheets that are easy to understand and ready to present to customers
  • Parsing obscure Mac LOG and PLIST files to present clear and readable data for analysts to quickly examine
  • Parsing a Windows registry for USB usage, recent file activity, installed software, and more
