Accomplishments

  • I am contributing to the achievement of quality health service delivery at Letsholathebe II Memorial Hospital, physiotherapy department by following and complying with the Council for Health Service Accreditation of Southern Africa (COHSASA) standards.
  • I facilitated multidisciplinary team work between physiotherapy department and oncology pediatric ward at Kamuzu Central Hospital during my internship. I initiated the provision of physiotherapy services to these children and I successfully advocated for the establishment of a permanent pediatric oncology physiotherapist in that ward.
  • I facilitated the improved service delivery at City Physiotherapy clinic which was proved by an increased satisfaction rate by clients. This was achieved through my leadership which included supervision and motivation of the staff to keep up a hardworking spirit with high quality service delivery which prioritizes patient care.
