  • I am currently working in the Outpatient and Emergency department, where we offer ambulatory care to over 4000 customers monthly, we also offer trauma care, resuscitations and management of all other emergencies.
  • I am also part of the custodians of the unit Resuscitation Dashboard and the Hospital Resuscitation team.
  • I was previously a part of the unit Asset Management Dashboard, foreseeing documentation of all asset, tracking service and maintenance, and scrapping of unserviceable asset.

  • I worked in the Outpatient and Emergency Department where i was a part of the elite team managing acute and chronic disease, routine consultations, ante natal care plus High Risk clinic, emergencies and inter-hospital referrals

  • I also had an opportunity to work at the then newly established Covid 19 ward during the pandemic, and at that I had to constantly showcase my supervisory skills as members of the team were mostly newly appointed junior and less experienced staff who needed guidance.
  • I was also a legally appointed SHE steward for nursing section and worked closely with management and union representative through the Shop steward. Roles included monthly SHE inspections and closing deviations, sitting in incident investigations, and much more.

  • Worked in the Infectious Disease Control Centre (IDCC), screening for Tb and other opportunistic infections plus general care for patients on HAART.

  • Worked in Pediatric ward managing cases like malnutrition, TB, other childhood infections, gastro enteritis, trauma, burns, pre and post operative cases and much more.
