  • I Worked in Maun General Hospital as from my initial post, then Letsholathebe II Memorial Hospital and also relocated to Maun Clinic as a Nursing Officer 1 and an ARV Nurse under NGAMI DHMT
  • My duties as a Nursing officer 1 and as an ARV Prescriber and Dispenser included: Bed side nursing in Female and Male Medical, Female and Male Surgical wards, Gynaecology ward and Paediatric departments
  • I then got allocated at Out Patient Department(OPD) were I was dealing with different outpatient clinics like Hypertension clinic, diabetic clinic, cardiology clinic, ENT clinic and ARV clinic
  • Then after being trained an ARV Nurse in 2008 I was based in Infectious Disease Control Clinic (IDCC) where my duties were more focused on HIV/AIDS testing, counselling and Anti-Retroviral Therapy i.e
  • Consultation, prescription, dispensing and initiation of Anti Retro Viral Therapy to patients, offering and performing Routine HIV Testing (RHT) and counselling, couple HIV counselling and testing, screening and monitoring of patients who monitors CD4, cervical cancer screening and management Sexually Transmitted Diseases especially in HIV positive clients, treatment adherence counselling and follow up of defaulting patients, health education for defaulters and newly diagnosed patients, effective running of paediatric and adolescents clinic as well as offering and counselling for Safe Male Circumcision(SMC)
  • Other duties included: running of Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) programme, running other general programmes in the clinic, being part of the team, which deals with rolling of Anti-Retroviral Therapy in NGAMI DHMT District, organiser of KITSO trainings in NGAMI District (Trainer of Trainees), oversees management and availability of resources and staff in the entire clinic
  • From January 2014 I started working under Serowe DHMT at Sekgoma Memorial Hospital still under IDCC (ARV) clinic up to the 31st March 2014
