• I covered several workshops/conferences/events within the University of Botswana Faculties and Departments including: University of Botswana and the Botswana International University of Science & Technology (BIUST)’s Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Festival in June 2016. The STEM festival concept which is championed by BIUST is informed by the characterization and inclination of BIUST towards societal focus, among others. Through organizing and hosting the STEM festival BIUST aimed to contribute towards; creating public awareness of science and appreciation of science and technology; and making science and technology work for people’s development. STEM festival comprised Exhibitions/Displays, Seminars/Talk shows/Symposia, Demonstrations/Shows. I also covered the Luncheon Ceremony in honour of the University Chancellor’s 91st Birthday in July (the late Sir Ketumile Masire), University Culture Day, official Opening of the University of Botswana Indoor Sports Facility etc.
