. Manage Finance department (managed a team of 5)

. Manage monthly financial reporting

. Preparation and sign off of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, including system to GL reconciliations

. Analytical review and the providing of sufficient detail on variances in the Income statement and Balance Sheet against both the Budget and the Prior Year

. Timely and accurate submission of adhoc requests to Group and/or the MD and CFO

· Manage internal and external audits

· To co-ordinate, compile and manage the audit process in order to produce the annual financial statements according to the international reporting standards within the specified group deadlines Liberty Life Botswana and Liberty Holdings Botswana Annual Financial Statements.

· Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

· Ensuring Tax compliance and timely submission of Taxes in country

· Preparation and presentation of Board packs and Sub-Committee Packs

· To enhance, implement and maintain financial control processes throughout the business to identify and mitigate key business risks and ensure timely and complete execution of duties.

· To lead, coach and mentor staff across all business pillars in order to improve organizational capacity and improve business sustainability.

· To establish and maintain effective internal and external relationships with key stakeholders for the sustainability of the business.

· Employed as an auditor since June 2011 till 2019

· Represented the firm in audit teams that carried out statutory audits in accordance to IFRS and ISA.

· Performed audit Procedures on Income Statement as well as Balance Sheet Financial Statement components

· Audit clients amongst others included Chobe Holdings (since 2012 audit); Botswana Insurance Company Limited (since 2011 audit); Lucara Diamond Corp (2011, 2012 and 2018 audits); Sefalana Cash and Carry Ltd (since 2012 audit); and Furnmart Ltd (Since 2013 audit).
