- Joined Lucara Botswana at Karowe Diamond mine operation as the Senior Mining Engineer Underground Project.
- Responsible for the safety, Quality and timely delivery of the project.
- Involvement includes licensing and all legal compliance, budgeting and procurement of explosive and all blasting equipment.
- Participate in the design and approval of mine infrastructure i.e., Crusher chambers, dewatering, fleet selection, future development (level plans), extraction methods, ventilation, and associated development.
- Provide leadership in the sinking activities and crews of the shafts.
- Participate in contract selection and adjudications.
- ERMP formulation and implementation.
- Scope included various contractors engaged in different tasks.
- Managed a 200-man camp.
- Oversaw the construction of 2 x 132kV substations and 29km transmission line.
