• Execute preventative, corrective, and modification maintenance across process control systems for Boiler, Turbine, Coal, Ash, Limestone, Bucket Wheel Stacker & Reclaimer, Wagon tippler and Water Treatment plants .
• Perform instrument calibration, loop checks, and troubleshooting to maintain operational reliability.
• Install and configure GE Fanuc RX3i PLCs and ABB 800XA DCS hardware/software , including I/O modules and control loops.
• Conduct protection and interlock testing for all plant systems.
• Support plant upgrades, instrumentation commissioning, and system integration projects in compliance with ISO and safety standards .

• Calibrated and maintained field instruments including DP transmitters, weighers, and PID controllers .
• Installed and modified pneumatic and hydraulic control valves
• Diagnosed and repaired process control loop faults to minimise downtime.
• Assisted in commissioning and functional testing of control instrumentation.
• Provided stand-by operational support to maintain 24/7 plant availability.

Key Projects:

• Borolong Water Treatment Plant – Upgraded control systems by replacing obsolete controllers with Allen Bradley Micrologix PLCs .
• Booster Pump Stations (Shashe, Kubung, Matshwane, Wenela, Tsodilo) – Installed CompactLogix Telemetry PLC panels ; field wiring and interfacing of level transducers, pressure transmitters, flow meters, actuators, and switches.
• Chobe Hospital & Airport Water Systems – Installed new Micrologix 1100 PLC panels and wireless Ethernet radios for telemetry integration.
• Mmamashia Water Treatment Plant Refurbishment – Upgraded control systems by replacing obsolete controllers with Allen Bradley Compactlogix PLCs; field wiring and interfacing of all installed instruments
• Boteti North Villages Water Project – Assembled and commissioned PLC Telemetry and MCC panels for boreholes and pump stations.
• Jwaneng WUC Tower Maintenance – Conducted troubleshooting and installation of flow meters and float switches with PLC interfacing.
