Duties:

• Install and repair of Mining Systems (MineStar, DSS, Equipment Health, HPGS, etc)
• Mining Systems monitoring and fault reporting to OEMs
• Repair of Mining Systems Hardware and software troubleshooting
• Ensure that equipment no longer required is correctly accounted for and retired correctly
• Manage and maintain consumables and hardware backup spares
• Installation, maintenance, and repair of 2-way radios and their communication hardware and software
• Keeping an inventory of all radios deployed and allocated
• Repair and maintain all company 2-way radios (Machines and handheld)
• 2-way radios critical spares control and management
• Ensure that equipment no longer required is correctly accounted for and retired correctly
• Manage and maintain consumables and hardware backup spares for site
• Installation, maintenance and repair of Rajant Network hardware and CCTV cameras
• Rajant network and CCTV cameras monitoring and fault reporting to OEMs
• Installation of Rajant network hardware and CCTV cameras
• Repair of installed Rajant network hardware and CCTV cameras
• Repair and maintain mobile network trailers
• Ensure that equipment no longer required is correctly accounted for and retired correctly
• Manage and maintain consumables and hardware backup spares
• Network installations, fault finding, and resolution.

Duties:

• Adheres to all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
• Improved equipment functionality by conducting regular maintenance checks and repairs.
• Plan for work to be done by obtaining all relevant permits and carrying out a risk assessment before commencing work and prioritizing work that needs to be done
• Performs operational checks, monitors performance, and related maintenance to identify and diagnose Collision Avoidance System and Fatigue Monitoring System performance problems
• Performs repairs, installations, and any work required to set up, align, or otherwise prepare for the operation of the Collision Avoidance System and Fatigue Monitoring System
• Optimizes system life cycle by monitoring performance and making corrective recommendations.

Duties:

• Installation of Collision Avoidance System and Fatigue Monitoring System on mine equipment (I.e., light duty vehicles, Haul trucks, Dozers, Graders, etc)
• Wiring of the DPCu (Digital Power Control unit) used to distribute power to all integrated components of the system, i.e
• SAFEMime main unit, Q2 high resolution, color camera system, and SAFEMine tracking RADAR sensors
• Correcting Collision Avoidance System and Fatigue Monitoring System malfunction with good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Configuration of Collision Avoidance System And Fatigue Monitoring System
• Migration of Collision Avoidance System and Fatigue Monitoring System from Rajant network to the LTE network.

• Elevated overall site security through proper equipment storage practices following each work shift.
• Streamlined communication between field technicians and office staff by providing detailed reports on work progress regularly.
• Powering up Mascom tower equipment using portable generators during power cuts
• Installation of backup batteries
• Installation of AMS/Huawei rectifier modules
• Test equipment to ensure compliance with set standards and specifications
• General cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
