Tigele Nleya is an experienced and passionate Business Developer, Marketer, Strategist, Analyst, Facilitator and Advisor with over 15 years industry experience in SME development, development finance, and investment & trade promotion serving a diversified portfolio of sectors such as Tourism, Agribusiness, Services, Education and Infrastructure Development among others. He is well accustomed to Botswana's and African economic environment, operations, challenges and opportunities and dedicated consistently offering proven expertise in providing impactful solutions to drive private sector growth in priority sectors of the Botswana's economy. A strong supporter of regional integration in pursuit positioning Botswana to integrate into both regional and global value chains . He currently serves as the Manager- Investment Promotion at the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC), Botswana's apex state-owned Investment and Trade Promotion Agency (ITPA) mandated to accelerating economic growth and development of the country by promoting and attracting both foreign direct investment (FDI) and domestic investment (DI) in priority sectors of the economy. His current sector portfolio covers Manufacturing, Mining and Mineral Beneficiation, and Energy .He is tasked with aligning BITC's strategic vision with the National priorities and to attract more investment in Botswana's priority sectors. Before joining BITC, he served in different capacities with key developmental institutions in Botswana including the Local Enterprise Authority (LEA) and the Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA) as a Business Advisor, Business Advisory Services Manager and Head of Client Relations (A).
