Tumedi Mothwana

appointed as a Lecturer 1 and currently in the Institute of health Sciences General Nursing where I facilitate teaching and learning of nursing courses and supervision of students in the clinical area.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner specialist from November 2023 my duties included managing acutely and chronically ill patients in the out-patient department of Mmadinare Primary Hospital. I also had a role of running the diabetic clinic in the hospital where I routinely consulted and managed diabetic patients. My other duties included doing minor invasive procedures such as incision and drainage, foreign body removals etc. and mentoring junior staff members

Worked in the University of Botswana School of Nursing as a demonstrator in 2020-2022, duties included demonstration and imparting of nursing skills and knowledge in the skills laboratory, clinics and Princes Marina Hospital to 1st year, 2ndyear, 3rd year and 4th year students as they went on their practical courses.

2011 to 2020 worked in Bobirwa district, Mmadinare Primary Hospital in as a general nurse doing bed side nursing, consultations and health education.
