To provide leadership in the development and execution of human capital management best practices in support of the execution of the Corporation’s strategy. The role is responsible for, inter alia, issues pertaining to human capital management and administration, records management, organizational development, industrial relations, talent management, knowledge management, and succession planning. The role oversees the general administration of the Corporation. Secretary to the Human Resource Committee of the Board., Ensures existence of Human Capital policies, strategies, and practices to enhance organisational efficiency and a high-performance culture within the organisation. Minimise vacancies and staff turnover to maximise productivity and reduce staff replacement costs. Develop policies and ensures compliance with BHC’s Human Capital policies, procedures and practices and minimise grievances and complaints. Positive management-staff relations and constructive relations with Employee Representatives. Secretary to the Human Resource Committee of the Board., Responsible for ensuring competitive remuneration strategies and practices with the organisation. Ensuring effective implementation of employee benefit schemes. Ensuring reduction in relative growth in staff costs. Ensuring enhanced employee productivity through implementation of reward strategies., Responsible for the daily management of a principal office for the Botswana Housing Corporation Pension Fund, including secretariat duties to the Board of Trustees. The functions and duties of the Principal Officer are those required under the Botswana Retirement Funds Act, 2014, and powers shall be those required to enable carrying out of functions and duties under the said Act. Liaises with the Fund Administrator, Fund Investment Manager and Fund Consultant on issues relating to investment mandate, member communication, Rules and Regulations of the Fund, advising members on pension related issues, as well as on compliance issues with the pension funds Regulator, NBFIRA.
